Yes, every image was taken by us

Every picture on this blog was taken by us in the field, in real conditions. We use professional mirrorless cameras, and the only editing we do is the kind that makes the photograph look the way the place actually looked.

Our full portfolio is available for editorial licensing. If you like our style and need images for a publication or a creative project, you can find them on Shutterstock. Each picture comes with the story of where it was taken.

About 2intour

Hello Travelers! We are Jonas and Francesca.

We are an Italian travel couple in love since 2001 with a deep passion for travel, nature, and photography.

"We write about places we have actually been to. We recommend thing we have done. Every photograph is one we took."

Every year we plan dedicated expeditions - journeys built around a specific place we want to explore and understand. We spend months preparing: studying the places we want to discover, reading as much as we can, talking to other travelers who have been there before us. Then we go, we test our itinerary and we adjust it on the field while enjoying the experience.

We love exploring every corner of the world but our two great obessions are the Arctic - Norway, Iceland, Svalbard - and South America: Patagonia, Atacama desert, Bolivia altiplano. These are the only places we keep returning to.

The passion for photography came a bit later and somewhere along the way travelling became inseparable from the photographing. We mostly photograph nature and wildlife, documenting the beauty of the landscapes that make you feel small and connected with them.
